Reflection
We used the Padlet and Coggle for planning. Padlet is like a planning dashboard. It is very useful for planning your work .it is also very easy to accsess .we can also share with others ant they can edit it.
the other tool we used was cooggle. i think coggle is the best way to build a mind map .It is can be edited by others it has fetures such as you can add branches, colour and add as many as you want . It was hard for me at the beginning but it gets easy when you get instructions.Overoll it is very convinent.
I think my group is the the best group. In my group there are 4 people Roanne,Devie,Ofa and me. we had alot of fun during our planning and mind mapping lesson.we all worked together. The group leader is the most amazing leader. iam excited to make an app.

extracting DNA
Extracting DNA from A babnana
Aim: to extract DNA from a banana using a method from the internet
Material
- 1/2 peeled ripe banana (you can also use strawberries or other fruit)
- 1/2 cup hot water
- 1 tsp salt
- 1/2 tsp liquid dishwashing soap
- resealable zip-top bag (quart size)
- very cold rubbing alcohol (isopropyl alcohol) placed in freezer ahead of time
- coffee filter
- narrow glass
- wooden stirrer .
- Mush the banana in the resealable bag for about a minute until all the lumps are gone and it almost looks like pudding.
- Fill a cup with the hot water and salt.
- Pour the saltwater mix into the bag. Close the bag and very gently squeeze and move the saltwater and banana mush together. Do this for 30 to 45 seconds.
- Add the dishwashing soap into the bag and gently mix the contents. Try to avoid making too much foam.
- Place the coffee filter in a clear glass cup, securing the top of the filter around the lip of the cup.
- Pour the mix into the filter and let it sit until all of the liquid drips down into the cup.
- Remove and discard the used coffee filter.
- Tilt the glass and slowly add cold alcohol down the side of the cup. You want the alcohol to form a layer on top of the banana mix, staying separated, so be careful not to pour it too fast. Make a layer of alcohol that is 2.5-5cm (1-2in) thick.
- After the alcohol layer is set up, wait for eight minutes. You may see some bubbles and cloudy material moving around in the alcohol. This is the DNA pieces clumping together.
- Use the wooden stirrer to start poking the cloudy stuff in the alcohol layer. Spin the stirrer it in place to start gathering the cloudy stuff. When you are done, take a closer look at the stuff on the stirrer. You are looking at DNA!
Well I couldn't see the DNA from a banana because I was absent but by seeing the pictures from my class mates blogs it seemed that it was exciting

A Slice Of Lonliness
"lonliness was no stranger to Serah."As she sat by the window looking out she remembers the day when her mother had left her.She was very close to her mother. Her mother had long brownish hair, she had blue eyes, red lips and a fair skin.Serah had the same face as her mother. She could sense her mother's perfume. Her mother wore a sweet sense of rose perfume. As she was thinking of her mother Serah could hear the voice of her mother saying " Hope is the only way of defeating lonliness." Tears rolled down her cheeks as she was thinking.Suddenly a voice intruppted her thoughts, it was her father who had ruturned home from work. Her father saw her crying,he knew that Serah was thinking of his mother. He told Serah to repeate her mother's words. The words gave her hope and erased her lonliness

As i mentioned above inter land is about digital citizenship and Internet safety. There are four levels. Each level has a different purpose. The levels teaches important steps of safety and digital citizenship.
Firstly level one, level one is tower of treasure. In this level we had to collect blocks and make a password. I liked the level but it was more for younger children.i think we could have changed the layout.
Secondly level two, level two is kind kingdom.in this level we had to spread good vibes lock bullies.I liked the level a lot because it for teenager. I think the level taught us teenagers to spread good vibes not bad.
thirdly level three, level three is reality river. In this level we had to receive email and send email safely. The level also tells how to report phishing. I think the level is for all age groups because we all use gmail and we need to be aware of what receiving in our email.
lastly level four, level four is mindful mountain. In this level we had to share post safely online and who are you posting to.I think the level is mostly for teenagers because us as teenagers we post a lot online.
i think interland is the best way to learn digital citizenship and internet safety.
