h.o.p.e

our group hope did mental health for our project base learning . we did  plans for our action including  awareness and social hangout.i knew that not many people would come or no on would come .it's not that i have a negative thought. not many people care about mental health . when we put posters around the school , most of the students ripped them ,some were in the trash can and some didn't even look at them .

our goal was for  the people to be aware of mental health . our awareness was 40% of success and 60% unsuccessful . first we browse our ideas then we put our ideas on posters . when we browse we got to learn more about mental health .we also read some of the quotes which were heart touching . 

from the journey of Project Base Learning ,i learned so much not just about mental health but about all those thing which affect our community.

third action plan 

our third action plan was preparing for our action . in these two days, we prepared all the things we need for our social hangout with the students on November 30, 107. First, we asked Ms. Merrin if we could use her room but it was booked .Mr. Grace heard us and talked to us instead of Ms.. Handley. He offered us to use his room (A10) for interval and lunch on Nov. 30 for our social hangout.

Thank you Mr. Grace.
Danielle bought some board games to school for our hang out . it was a busy day but all's well , ends well . so it ended up very well

"H.O.P.E"

At Hornby High we have been asked how can we have a positive impact on our community?
To do this we had to choose a topic. The topic i chose was  mental health. I think mental health is something that affects people in our community. we had to choose a group that had similar vision to us. The other people who had the same vision were Lovely and Alyana. we formed a group called H.O.P.E.

we want to make a difference in our community by Raise awareness and communicating to students who are suffering from mental issues.

in to the woods the character of little red ridding hood wants some bread for her granny but eats some on her way. She meets a wolf who shows her wonderful things. The wolf is not her friend  she has a close relation with her grandmother she felt scared of the wolf and also angry.she was a friend of the baker. The baker saved her from the big bad wolf.She gave her red cape to the baker.

my character is Wendy from peter pan. she is 14 years old. her name is Wendy Darling. her father and mother are Mary and George. Wendy is the  oldest  child and she has two younger brothers called John and Michael. Wendy is cheerful! kind and caring. she loves telling stories and is friendly. she is polite and innocent . she is the same size as peter pan but is not as afraid of growing up. she really likes peter pan and loves going on adventures with him.her enemies are the pirates (captain hook)she has a dog named Nana. she has blonde hair.

10.Wendy: Boy, why are you crying? You say that you are not crying? Oh, yes you are. What is your name? Wendy, Moira, Angela, Darling. What’s yours? Peter Pan, is that all? Oh, it is. In that case, I’m so sorry. Where do you live? The second star to the right and straight ‘till what? What a funny address. I ah mean, is that what they put on your letters? Well if you don’t get letters, you mother must get… You don’t have a mother? Oh, Peter.
11. Peter: Yes, Wendy, I know fairies! But, they’re nearly all dead now. You see, when the first baby laughed for the first time, the laugh broke into thousand of pieces and they all went skipping about, and that was the beginning of fairies. So, there ought to be a fairy for every boy and girl. There isn’t of course. You see children know such a lot now. Soon they don’t believe in fairies, there is a fairy somewhere that falls down dead. I can’t think she is gone. Tinkerbell, Tink, where are you?

12: John: Peter, you can really fly? Could you teach us to fly? Could you teach us to jump on the wind’s back and away we’ll go!?! Instead of sleeping in our silly beds we might be flying about saying funny things to the stars! How do we do it? Think lovely thoughts? Think lovely thoughts! Fishing… picnics… sailing… PRESENTS!!! And away we goooooooooo!!!!!!
i choose Wendy because it has drama,facial expression, and challenges such as she has difficult dialogues. it has opportunities to do lead performance.
