Willow Bank trip
We reached Willow bank at 11:10 am. first Mrs Briggs gave us booklets and instructions. then we all were divided into 3 groups. the first group went with Mrs Alpers, the second group went with Mrs Flores and the last group went with Mrs Briggs. I was in the third group with my friends Vani, Hillary, Ofa, Adi, and Francis.
our group went to the barnyard. We saw Lamma, peacock, chickens, ducks, sheep, Eguana and many more. We also saw a horse named Samantha. My friends fed the animals at the barnyard. The animals were really friendly. We spent a bit of time seeing rabbits and their cute little babies.
Lastly, we all came together at 12:00 pm at the Kea encloser. There the Instructor Rachel gave us Information about the Kea. I got to learn new things about Kea such as it likes eating peanut butter and honey. One of the Kea birds took my friends Spray because they love playing with shiny things. I also got to know that the Kea has a king and queen that controls their group.
Around 1:00pm we did a head count and took a class picture. Then we rode back to school. It was an amazing and educational trip. I really loved it.
