The hero's journey

Ordinary World / Status Quo
The hero's journey is a mythic structure of Joseph Campbell's. There are 12 stages of the hero's journey. stage 1 ordinary this is where the hero lives before his adventure begins. this is where his everyday life as an ordinary person and learns basic aspects of a hero, his characteristics, abilities and risks of life.
call to adventure
the hero's adventure begins as they receive a call for action, like a threat to their family, their safety and the neighbourhood that they live in. It's not always as dramatic as a gunshot however a phone call or communication reveals itself, and interrupts the pleasure of the hero's.
Refusal of the call
Even though the hero may seem to accept the challenge or the quest that has been given to him, at this time he might have fears that need to be overcome. he could be having second thoughts or he might have personal doubts if he can do the challenge or not. The things or the problem that he might face might be too much to handle.
Assistance
At this crucial moment where the Hero really needs guidance, he meets a mentor who gives him everything that he needs for his journey. He could be given a gadget of importance, wise advice, practical training, or self-confidence despite the difficulty he will face. The mentor gives him the strength and courage to begin his quest.
departure
The hero is now ready to begin his quest, whether it's physical, spiritual, or emotional. The Hero may go freely or he may be forced, but either way, the Hero will finally cross the beginning. This might mean leaving home for the first time or just doing something that he has always been frightened to do. However, the beginning presents itself as an action that represents the Hero's promise to his journey.
Trails
Now the Hero is finally out of his comfort zone the is now faced by more difficult sets of challenges that will test him. The crisis is thrown into his path during his journey. To reach his final goals he must win each challenge that has been conferred to him during his journey.
Approach
As the Hero enters the darkest cave the hero may once again face some of the doubts and the terror that he has faced upon his call to adventure. This might intend that he may need time to reflect upon his journey and the horrifying road ahead in order to find the spirit to continue his mission. This helps the viewers understand the importance of the challenge that awaits the Hero and increases the pressure in expectation of his test.
crisis
The trial may be a critical physical test or it could be an inner crisis that the Hero might face in line to survive. This means that he might meet his deepest fear or most dangerous enemy, the Hero must bring in all of his skills and his experience that he has gathered upon the path to overcome his most complicated challenges. undergoing detailed reappearance that somehow grants him greater power or insight needed in order to reach the end of his journey.
Treasure
After the Hero destroys the enemy, surviving death and finally overcoming his fear. The Hero is basically changed in a new form, appearing from a battle as a stronger person and often with a prize. The reward may come in various forms: an object of great value or power, secret knowledge, or even settlement with loved ones or family. Whatever the treasure, which may help him return to the Ordinary World, the Hero must prepare himself for the last part of his journey.
result
This is the stage where the Hero's journey shows an opposite response to the Call of Adventure. Now he must return home with his reward but his expectation of crisis is restored by the emotions of approval and forgiveness. But the Hero's journey is not over yet. He may need the last push back into the Ordinary World.
Return
This the closing stage of the Hero's journey in which he returns home to the Ordinary World as a changed man. He will be developed into a person, received new things, face terrible danger and even death however now he is looking forward to the start of a new life. His return may bring faith to those that were left behind at home, a right resolution to settle their difficulties
Final
The final reward that he receives may be realistic or symbolic. It could be a cause for celebration, self-realization or an end to the conflict. it represents three things: change, success, and evidence of his journey. The return home also indicates the need for the purpose of the story's other important members. In conclusion, the Hero will return to where he started but everything will never be the same again as his life has changed throughout his journey.
